This Friday is Columbus Day, which means I'll have a three-day weekend. 
I'm driving up to Chicago to attend Chicago film festival. I just can't wait!

But before that, I have a 8-page paper due tomorrow. Oh well, today, technically, 'cause it's one in the morning now, and I still have about 7 hours.

That's the point I want to make.
I definitely should change my lifestyle asap.
I can't go to bed every morning 5 a.m and go to class at 10.

Gotta go, sth's going on.

停不下来的日子

我的作业，你真的可以再多一点

每天晚上的8点到11点是我必看电视的时间，这也是作业的一项。我不是抱怨这个作业多，因为我很enjoy这个作业。我是说，有了这个作业之后，我没有时间写其他作业了。

作业，真的是很纠结的一个东西。


今天我穿着高跟鞋去参加了学校的career fair，basically这个fair是提供给大三大四学生找工作和实习机会的。但我很不满，为什么大部分来招工的都是针对商学院的学生的？学校就不给别的学院的学生提供如此的资源和机会吗？很多公司美其名曰：招All Majors。根本就是放屁！
所以说我又多了一个不相信的东西：career fair 或 人才交流会。

人和心理

我想每个人都有一定的心理问题吧？问题的关键在于不同的个人如何处理这些问题。心理问题的形成可能是一时的，但解决绝对不可能是一时的；这过程中，有人可以自己为自己解脱，有人可能需要专业帮助。
虽然我个人不相信“专业心理咨询师”这个东西（特别是中国的），但我也不否定他们凭专业知识会给患者带来一定的启发。这是好事。

我自己就会有非常多的心理问题，他们有时是我生活的动力，有时又会take over me让我迷失。但是我可以做到用积极的态度去面对和解决这些问题，而不是害怕，逃避。后者只能让后果更糟糕，在我还有能力控制的时候，为什么要让自己变的糟糕呢？

突然想到，以前想学心理学专业或者辅修的时候，居然因为要设计很多实验很麻烦为由放弃了。多么幼稚的决定啊。怎么就没有想到那些更高尚的理由呢。

在现实的压力下（就业？），总是需要时不时提醒一下我自己：我现在走的这条路意义可能会更重大。很多人听说我是传媒专业都惊呼：哇！这么好玩！但我当初选择传媒专业的理由说出来很多人都会笑，因为听起来非常不“21世纪”。我认真的认为传媒可以控制人的思想，它可以发挥你无法想像的积极的作用，包括提高公民素质和推动社会进步。无论我将来从事什么相关产业，我都希望我的作品可以对观众产生积极的影响，甚至可以直接的帮助到人。

这是我今晚的thoughts。

anyways,
life has been great and 11 just paid a short weekend visit here in my school and Cincy.
We had great fun, and 
a LOT of food.
The first day we went shopping and then to Magen's bday party, which was a bit awkward since we weren't really know the other guys there, and then we went on to clubbing and dancing and all that.
The second day, 11 and my roommie and I had brunch at school's, and later we drove off to downtown Cincy.
I hope I can pay back a visit to her school soon, you know, to see all the "weirdos".

Today I took a Microbiology test that I surely did a shitty job on, 'cause I didn't even study for it.
My best bet was that I would receive an "F" on that, I'm not even kidding. 
But who the fuck cares.

Haven't practice Japanese for the past weeks, and hadn't even time to watch Japanese dramas.
All I do now is to catch up with all the American shows, good or bad.

So how are you guys?
